A Poem for Day Three
She must have wondered
Tell me she had her doubts
The story was incredible
Ridiculous, if you must know
She would carry a Savior
And then, strangely,
she was
This young girl
A fledgling
and favored
Chosen
Even so
Even so...
There must have been moments
Fear
Questions
A halting resolve
to believe promises
not a little bizarre
Those who look to him
are radiant
No shadow of shame
will darken their faces
She must have shone
Not because she was perfect
She must have shone
because she wrestled
and chose to trust
